The beautifully clever canard-type glider designed by the great Reinhold Platz. This simple marvel could be launched by its pilot alone and was controlled by the canards held directly by its pilot. He had to put his hands down to raise the nose, hands up to lower it and to initiate a left turn he just had to push up sightly left hand and lower right one to provide differential aileron action. The whole thing could be rolled up and carried home over the owners’ shoulder while he rode home on a bicycle.
Hard to beat in loveliness.
