Conceived to be an easy to train and easy handle personal “chopper”, the DH-4 Heli-Vector (HZ-1 Aerocycle to the US Army) was a hairy-looking contraption intended, mainly, to be used for recon in the battlefield. In fact it turned to be neither easy to use nor simple. After two crashes due contra-rotating rotors colapse -they became intermeshed- the project was cancelled.
