This is Thomas E.DeKellis’ idea of the perfect crop duster aeroplane. Not satisfied with the then available modified aircraft he thought that a triplane configuration would do better: improving both maneuverability and carrying capacity. Those qualities were perfect not only for a duster, but also for a heavy duty light cargo aircraft.
Only this prototype was built by mechanic Alan Olson in 1957, flown and soon forgotten.
…. it sure looked like an old mule.
