Boeing B-52F “BUFF”: A Really Flexible Asset.

The considerable amount of flexibility of the BUFF’s wings was a characteristic quite disconcerting when first encountered by its crews. Specially when flying into significant turbulence then the B-52’s wings can flap with a disturbing defection of about 32 ft at the tips.

A very SAC-ist photo.
