The seaplane fighter was a concept already obsolete at the middle of WW2, yet the British persisted with the idea shortly after the end of the war addin’ the then “en vogue” jet engines.
With the heretic SR.A/1 the fine line between horrendous an hilarious was happily crossed. The Americans sinned too, but with more grace and style.
