David Clark XMC-2: The Shiny Crusader.

The prototype of the future NAA X-15 pressure suit,the XMC-2 (S794-3C) is modeled here by test pilot Scott Crossfield.The photo was taken at the Aero Medical Laboratory on 14 Oct 1957 while he was conducting some test runs in Johnsville centrifuge.Crossfield was a capital figure in the X-15 program and he was adamant in the necessity of pressure suits in its operation,this stunning David Clark’s outfit was the result.
