Saab Stable: Nordic Shapes.

Saab Stable: Nordic Shapes.

Few companies could muster such a variety of wing shapes, less so in flying condition.
J 29 Tunnan: one of the first successful swept-wing fighter…, if somewhat rotund.
– J 32 Lansen: humble yet capable attack-fighter, sadly too overlooked.
J 35 Draken: out of this world double delta, at the leading edge of technology and performances on its era.
– Sk 60: the no-nonsense and efficient straight wing trainer.
JAS 37 Viggen: stellar qualities with a delta wing, canards and a “spiced” airline engine.
– JAS 39 Gripen: in front, too new to me…., not interested.
