Blackburn Skua: Lack of……

Blackburn Skua: Lack of......

The late 1930s Royal Navy’s Skua was a compromise between fighter and dive bomber; in fact a dive bomber with a secondary fighter role. As usual in compromises it wasn’t particularly good in either role. Crewed by bold crews the Skuas performed gallantly, but also showed painfully their many weakness, They were soon relegated to less harmful tasks.

This book jacket’s emboss is sure faster and more powerful than the real Skua was.
