“Beech-enge”: Solid Mirages.

Mutonia Sculpture Park (Oodnadatta), South Australia. In the middle of this antipodal desert Robin Cooke takes whatever “junk” -sorry, recycled metal- at hand and turned it into weird looking sculptures. This pair of “plain vanilla” Beech monoplanes -Barons,  maybe- sure won with Cooke’s treatment. Not a bad retirement, methinks.

Some joker has given “this” the not very inspired “Planehenge” sobriquet.
