Gorgeously posed pic taken from the “Nei cieli di Guerra” magazine (1942). The aircraft seem to be a Fiat CR.30B two-seat trainer. First flown in 1932, the original CR.30 fighter was an evolution of the household CR.20 and a sort of bigger and heavier C.R.32 “prequel”. Supplanted soon in the fighter role by those better performing CR.32’s, the CR.30’s proved anyway very useful as trainers -specially these CR.30B “biposti”. The last was delivered in 1942.
