Lebanon adquired 4 second hand “Gobbi” to serve as transports just after WW2. They were operated well into the late 1960’s. Donated back by the Lebanese, two of them have survived in Italian museums (they’re the only still intact): one on display at the Museo Storico dell’ Aeronautica Militare Italiana at Vigna di Valle and the other is on display at the Museo dell’Aeronautica Gianni Caproni at Trento.
L-113 is Museo dell’Aeronautica Gianni Caproni’s Gobbo. Seen here on his bizarre trip back to Italy.
