Dornier Wal: The (Non) Plus Ultra.

At the conclusion of the “Plus Ultra” 1926 raid the spanish king Alfonso XIII -against the Comandante Franco’s desires- gifted their Dornier Wal to the Argentine government.
Gladly after being employed operationally by them, someone wisely decided to preserve it. The Dornier could be seen nowadays at the Museo Udaondo (Luján). Not sure if this antique photo depicts that museum; the place where the “Plus Ultra” is displayed these days looks definitely pedestrian compared to the magnificence of this room.
