NAA P-51D Mustang & Offsprings: Air-Dominance Profiles.

Joint Service Open House at Andrews AFB (Md), May 17, 2008.
Four American fighter aircrafts that have defined their eras. Clockwork: The best overall fighter of WW2 (Mustang); the superlative game changer of the 1970s (a F-15E Strike Eagle variant here); the fighter that set in the 1960s the standards that others try, mainly unsuccessfully, to follow (F-4E Phantom II) and the first stealthy fighter of the 21st century (F-22 Raptor).

Mustang or “Rhino” to me.
