David Rose RP-4: Under some tarpaulins.

This homebuilt racer certainly is too modern to be here, but with its two 2700hp Dart V8s drag racing (!!) engines each driving one of the props, minimum wing area, cool cockpit placement, etc…. well, it’s sure tempting. The first time I saw this picture of David Rose’s RP-4 -and some scarce info- was around a decade ago. I was truly interested in seeing how those peculiar props worked out, but never heard another word about it since. I have the suspicion for some reason the project has died, and now languishes in a hangar….waiting.
