The HS-42 was the first aircraft entirely designed and built in my beloved county, Andalucía. Originally conceived with a retractable landing gear, in the end they were produced with a fixed one to simplify. The HS-43 variant retook the original retractable landing configuration. Only a pair of prototypes were flown. More were produced, but the arrival of the American aid ended their future. They were converted to HS-42 standard. From these humble origins to the Airbus A400M Atlas,……….. ¡¡ ahí es ná !!
Classic elegance (a photoshopped HS-42, maybe) over the Seville Cathedral, Giralda tower included.
