Darmstadt D-22: All alone.

The Darmstadt D-22 was a tiny and slick sport biplane conceived in the 1930s by some students of the Darmstadt University of Technology. Its main peculiarity was its bizarre cantilever biplane configuration: with an upper wing placed on a short cabane strut above the fuselage and quite ahead of its lower back wing. Just two were produced.
