Fieseler F2 Tiger: German Sun-Rays.

In the early 1930s  German World War I “ace” (20 victories) Gerhard Fieseler arrived to the conclusion that who better than him to design and built a vehicle to win the World Aerobatic Competition. His brainchild was the ultra-neat F2 Tiger biplane first flown in 1932…the one in which he won the 1934 contest.  Only one was built, but the Tiger was nevertheless the first of a fine line of aircraft produced by the later called Gerhard Fieseler Werke (GFW).

Those magnificent and almost unavoidable rays.
