Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25RB: Raised from the Dead.

This MiG-25RB was one of the bunch of Iraqi “Foxbats” (and Su-25’s) that were wrapped neatly in camouflage netting and then buried in the Tahmmouz AB west of Baghdad during the war to keep them out of trouble. This is the way they’re discovered in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Unearthing those treasures with heavy equipment, no little brushes and hand shovels here. Gladly a few were taken to the US and preserved.

The heat is still on and I’m quite delirious.
