Lockheed A-12B: Resting Places (VI).

California Science Center, LA. One of the most starling of the A-12/SR-71’s resting places, at least to me. This is also a very special “Oxcart” specimen. It’s the only A-12 trainer ever built, also it was never powered by the J58‘s -it carried J75’s that limited its speed to a maximum of just Mach 1,6).  Even more, nicknamed for obvious reasons, the “Titanium Goose” (#06927) has the honor of giving the great “Kelly” Johnson his only ride in one of his creations.
