Canadair CL-13 Sabre: “Spiraltional”.

A Canadian Sabre -in my opinion an early Mk.2 (“V” shaped windshield)- test-firing its battery of .50 M3 heavy machine guns on a cold Canadian night. This incredible photo clearly shows the spin of the bullets in those smoke trails.

Yep, those Canuck Sabres again.

  1. Don’t forget the Canadair CT-133 Silver Star. They were faster and easier to fly than the T-33! I loved when I flew into Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs, the Silver Stars and C-47s lined up in their gleaming white, silver and red, you could eat off of them! They were there to support the Canadian contingent at NORAD.
