The sad sight of a bunch of P-40Bs destroyed in Hickam Field (Pearl Harbor, Hawaii) that 7 of December seventy-seven years ago. Not all were defeated in their nests; George Welch and Ken Taylor used theirs to achieve a decent number of shooting downs that day. Their pants were truly up even if they had been out late the night before…
