Tonneau d’Antoinette: Mental Games.

Tonneau d'Antoinette: Mental Games.

Magnificent contraction designed at the Levasseur factory to train pilots to use the household Antoinette monoplane’s control system. The apparatus was more than necessary because despite the wonderful qualities of the Antoinette its control system wasn’t one of them. Bizarrely lay out and very “unnatural” to operate it had a rudder bar and two wheels: one foe elevation and the other, the port one,  turned fore and back to operate the wing-warping or ailerons.

By the way, the second character from the left looks to me like Antoinette’s most famous flyer, Hubert Latham.
