Douglas Dakota: Indefatigable.

The DC-3 “Dakota” not only took an active part in the 1948 Berlin Airlift. Their was also the ancillary but necessary task of supply aircraft parts and spares to keep flying other aircraft.
A nocturnal RAF “Dakota” is loading here a Avro York‘s huge wheel at RAF Honington.  Oh, that chiaroscuro.
