B-V XCH-62 & CH-47C: Dwarfing powers.

A “minute” CH-47C Chinook picking up the XCH-62 at Mobile to transport it to the US Army Aviation Museum at Fort Rucker, Alabama in 1987. It came, via barge, from Philadelphia to the Gulf of Mexico. The Chinook made the final delivery. Sadly, not a well-deserved “resting place” in the end, just a shame.

I adore the blues in this gorgeous photo.

  1. Obviously winter, or the skies would be much grayer from humidity (and pollutants). Speaking as someone who lived in Pensacola and Biloxi, on opposite sides of Mobile on the Gulf Coast.
