A Sunderland Mk.I crew member takes a well-deserved refreshment while on a North Atlantic Patrol, 1940/41. Notice the racks containing 250-lb AS bombs he has as a ceiling. When attacking a target, these mobile bomb racks inside the Sunderland’s hull were run out to their release positions underneath the wings. One of the bomb hatchs at the top right.
