Dewoitine D.720: Daddy Cool (XLII).

Emile Dewoitine holding the wind tunnel model of its Argentine D.720 jet interceptor of 1948. Clearly derived from his previous D.700 Pulqui and displaying some similarities to the American P-80, the D.720 was conceived by Dewoitine because of the Pulqui’s modest performance and outdated design. Sadly for Dewoitine, it only flew in a tunnel.
