Stinson‘s sturdy SM-6000 family started its life in 1929 as the Corman 3000. These high-wing strutted monoplanes were powered by a trio of 215hp Lycoming R-680’s. They usually seated a pilot and ten passengers, mail or cargo. Fifty-three were produced in a number of slightly different variants. Twenty-four of the powered-up “U” model were later produced starting in 1932.
Just a pretty snapshot of a SM-6000-B of the Colonial Airlines, St. Hubert, Quebec, taken on May 1934.

Yes, please warm me up. (12C and light rain today where I am in Canada) .
34ºC and 72% humidity here…..
Meant to add: But I love that Stinson picture. Keep cool my friend.
Yep, gorgeous photo indeed.
Thanks, I’m tryin’ to.
Only 32C here today! Not sure what the humidity was? Even in a monsoon, we rarely get to 50%!
50%? Quite usual here in Valencia.
